Charlie's N Scale Layout
8 September 2003 |
Mark, Eric
and I drove over to meet with Charlie, Andrew and John for a run session
at Charlie's. All had a very good time. I brought along my throttle and
Andrew brought a couple so we had 5 throttles running at one time, this is
a new "record" for Charlie. We tested Charlie's theory about how the
layout will run. IT worked just fine with 5 operators.
I can see this layout supporting 6 or 8 operators.
Two shuffling trains out from under the layout and up into the east and
west bound helixes. Two to Four operators running the trains out of the
helixes and across the layout. One dispatcher, and a couple of operators
in the yards.
