Bob and Katie re waiting in line at the Santa Clara Convention Center. All 4,400 walkers need to check-in. The first line to get into the safety briefing was a long one. We had to wait over an hour in line, the line went way back behind us.

Since Barbara was on crew, she checked-in  in the morning. After she was done, she found us in line. Katie is holding her fleece Crew Jacket and her "I'm Crew" shirt.

After the safety briefing walkers checked in. This was the line to turn in any the last of your donations, the ones you have with you. This line actually moved quite quickly.

The real slow line was at the store, where you could buy all kinds of 3-day stuff; shirts, jackets, water bottles, socks, etc.
